Wegene Internship
The Wegene Ethiopian Foundation Internship is a hands-on, community-driven program that gives young people the opportunity to give back to Ethiopian families and communities in meaningful ways. Interns primarily work through tutoring and mentorship, supporting children in their academic journeys while witnessing firsthand the transformative power of encouragement and education. Beyond direct student engagement, interns also contribute to the organization's broader operations, including grant research, crowdfunding, and outreach, gaining real-world nonprofit experience. More than a resume builder, the WEF internship is a deeply personal experience that fosters cultural connection, builds leadership skills, and instills a lasting commitment to community service.
